Behavioral health issues do not discriminate: they can occur in anyone’s life. Whether you are active duty, family member or other beneficiary, behavioral health care at Guthrie Ambulatory Health Care is delivered in a compassionate manner designed to aid in recovery. Individual or group counseling is designed to help patients get through life’s behavioral challenges.
The Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) is staffed by military and civilian providers who provide outpatient assessment, diagnosis and treatment for behavioral health and traumatic brain injury rehabilitation to active duty Soldiers and their Family Members. Soldiers and Family Members may self-refer for evaluation in DBH to the specific clinic as noted below:
Specific programs include: Screening for TBI, Depression, PTSD, Anxiety, ADHD and other behavioral health conditions; Individual and Group Counseling; Medication Management; and evaluation and treatment for partner relational problems and domestic violence. A Behavioral Health Triage Clinic is available during regular duty hours for Soldiers with urgent behavioral health issues in Building P36. Referrals to inpatient care at other facilities are available as determined by the treatment team. Consultation and training is available for command teams and units to address organizational challenges, resilience, and behavioral health promotion. Appointments are available for Soldiers needing evaluation for administrative separation, security clearances, and Army schools.
