Every member of the Fort Drum community holds the potential to become an expert and believer in prevention and wellness. Through surveillance, education and active prevention, we can recruit these individuals to participation in effectively reducing overall disease burden on Fort Drum and in the US Army.

This site will direct you to many useful areas. Specifically, Preventive Services recommendations and Clinical Practice Guidelines in areas such as Diabetes, Tobacco Use Cessation as well as important guidelines for the use of preventive interventions in the clinical setting (screening, counseling, immunizations, etc) under the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force recommendations.
